Private Equity Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the identification and assessment of investment opportunities.
• Conduct market research, screen potential targets, and prepare initial investment theses.
• Support senior investment professionals in all aspects of the investment process, from initial screening and due diligence to transaction execution and portfolio management.
• Participate in due diligence processes, including financial modeling, industry analysis, and company valuation.
• Collaborate with external advisors and consultants as necessary.
• Support all aspects of deal structuring, negotiation, and documentation.
• Work closely with legal, financial, and operational advisors to facilitate smooth transaction closings.
• Assist in the oversight of portfolio companies, including financial analysis, performance monitoring, and strategic planning.
• Support portfolio companies in implementing growth strategies, operational improvements, and add-on acquisitions.
• Bring enthusiasm and curiosity to the job every day; assist in fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Assist other team members with work and provide your experience and knowledge to others whenever possible.
• Contribute to the preparation of materials for investor meetings, quarterly reports, and other communications.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking or private equity.
• Candidates graduated in 2023 or 2024 considered.
• Strong academic credentials, undergraduate degree required.
• Strong modeling and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Understanding of the deal process.
• Clear, concise business writing skills.
• Deep interest in building value in mid-market companies through active ownership and operational partnership.
