As a Private Duty Nurse (PDN)
- Provide in-home direct patient care
- Assess and document patient conditions
- Administer medication, insulin, and IV/fluids
- Inspect and care for wounds
- Assess patients for further injuries, infections, bedsores, etc.
- Collaborate with providers, aides, and allied health professionals
To qualify
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state associated with this position
- CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations
- Practical trach and/or ventilator experience preferred but not required
