Private Duty RN – Top Pay, Low Patient Ratio (1:1 Care)

Job Summary

Looking to supplement your income without picking up another hospital shift? Join RNS Private Duty Care as an LPN or RN in a caregiver-style role providing one-on-one support in the home.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in the home
• Aid with daily living activities
• Administer medication reminders or administration (when applicable)
• Monitor condition changes and communicate with the care team
• Light documentation per RNS standards
• Support comfort and recovery monitoring for post-op clients
• Offer pain management support (non-clinical oversight)
• Transport and assist with errands
• Supervise safety during the first 24-48 hours post-surgery

Qualifications

• Current Kansas or Missouri LPN or RN license (in good standing)
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Excellent communication and assessment skills
• CPR certification (or completion within 90 days of hire)
• TB test (current or within 90 days of hire)
• Prior home health or private duty experience preferred, but not required
