Private Duty Nursing LPN / RN

About the Role

As a Private Duty Nurse (PDN) at Interim HealthCare, you’ll provide one-on-one in-home patient care, supporting a full range of services to bring comfort and dignity to clients during critical times. This role offers truly flexible scheduling, 1:1 patient care, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in your community.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home direct patient care following the provider’s prescribed plan of care and nursing scope of practice, while closely monitoring progress and recovery.
• Assess and document patient conditions (vitals, blood/stool/urine, glucose, etc.) and report changes as needed.
• Administer medication, insulin, and IV/fluids, ensuring thorough documentation.
• Inspect and care for wounds, change dressings, and assist with personal hygiene.
• Assess patients for injuries, infections, bedsores, and other conditions, delivering appropriate treatments.
• Collaborate with providers, aides, and allied health professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current unrestricted RN or LPN license in the state associated with this position.
• Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
• Reliable transportation to and from care sites and work locations.

Practical trach and/or ventilator experience is preferred but not required.
