About the role
This role involves providing skilled nursing support for an ALS patient requiring Vent and Trach care, with preference for experience in these areas.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Initiate and adjust the plan of care as needed.
- Respond to changes in patient condition by reporting to physicians or supervisors.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor effectiveness, and identify educational and discharge planning needs.
Qualifications
- Active nursing license (RN or LPN).
- Valid state ID and Social Security Card.
- TB screening or x-ray.
- Current BLS certification.
- Prior experience preferred but not mandatory.
