Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN)

About the role

We are seeking compassionate LPNs and RNs to provide one‑on‑one skilled nursing care to pediatric and adult patients in Gettysburg, PA and surrounding communities. This role offers the opportunity to build strong relationships with patients and families while making a real difference every day. You will work in a comfortable home environment with flexible scheduling, full‑time, part‑time, and PRN options, and supportive clinical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care according to physician orders and care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Assess and monitor patient conditions
• Educate patients and family members on care and treatment plans
• Document care accurately and timely
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the healthcare team
• Report changes in patient condition promptly

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania LPN or RN license
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Home health or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
• Compassionate and dependable with a patient‑centered approach
• Reliable transportation
