Private Duty Nurse LVN - Full-Time

About the role

The Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides skilled nursing care under supervision, ensuring quality patient care aligned with physician plans and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate patient care, monitor and assess patient conditions, and document all activities accurately.
• Participate in updating care plans, recognize changes requiring intervention, and implement appropriate nursing actions.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, self-care, and prevention strategies.
• Maintain infection control protocols and comply with all policies, regulations, and the Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted state license as an LPN/LVN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; prior clinical experience preferred.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel, lift up to 50 pounds, and respond effectively to emergencies.
