Private Duty Nurse - Bel Air, MD

About the role

We are actively looking to hire compassionate, energetic LPNs & RNs to help care for our home healthcare clients. We are willing to train in G-tube, trach, and ventilator areas if needed. Our nursing supervisors are eagerly awaiting to teach nurses.

Shift availability

• Sunday: 3P-11P
• Tuesday: 11P-7A
• Wednesday: 11P-7A
• Friday: 11P-7A

Responsibilities

• Working one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner

Requirements

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license – Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Confidence to work independently
• Minimum of six (6) months home health experience, OR six (6) months critical care experience within the last three years AND demonstrate independent critical thinking skills during in-person skills validation

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates
• Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
• Pediatric experience a plus

Pay

• Pay Range: $26-42 per hour. Pay rates are determined by licensure, skills, experience, and varies per case
• Employees will receive time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week
