Private Duty Caregiver

Continuum is seeking experienced, dependable part-time caregivers to provide exceptional in-home care throughout St. Charles County and the Greater St. Louis area. We value mature professionals who bring compassion, good judgment, patience, and a strong commitment to helping older adults remain safe and independent at home.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with dignity, respect, and compassion
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living
• Support client safety, comfort, and independence
• Prepare simple meals and assist with light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team
• Recognize changes in client condition and respond appropriately

Requirements

• Experienced caregiver with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor
• Mature, dependable, and able to work independently
• Patient, compassionate, and committed to providing excellent care
• Skilled at building trust and meaningful relationships with clients
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Looking for flexible daytime hours and a supportive team environment
• Ability to pass a background screening
• Ability to assist with client transfers and move up to 100 lbs. using appropriate assistive devices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
