Private Duty Caregiver - Adults and Seniors

About the role

At BAYADA, we seek individuals passionate about caregiving who are committed to helping adults stay safe and independent at home. As a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant, you will support clients with activities of daily living, household support, and companion care.

Responsibilities

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you will provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Ranging of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Making medication reminders

Requirements

• 1 year of verifiable work experience
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect
• Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned

Qualifications

• The current level II background check is required.

Pay

$17-$20 per hour

Schedule
