Private Credit Analyst

About the role

A North Carolina-based private-credit firm is looking for a Private Credit Analyst to join a lean deal team and gain extensive, hands-on transaction exposure.

Responsibilities

• Execute broader market and industry research
• Build financial models, perform valuation analysis, and analyze returns for various investment targets
• Take point on due-diligence processes
• Monitor the existing investment portfolio
• Assist the team with operating and portfolio-company work

Requirements

• 1–3 years of investment-banking experience performing M&A at a reputable middle-market or lower-middle-market bank; related transaction-advisory consulting experience will also be considered
• Bachelor’s degree
• Superior financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills (a modeling test will be administered)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional work ethic
• Prior experience or interest in sectors such as business services, industrials, manufacturing, and/or consumer
