About the role

You will serve as the main point of contact for a select group of Chase’s affluent clients and other branch customers, managing their complete banking relationship with a proactive, advice-based approach to grow their balances. You’ll also help acquire new clients by actively soliciting referrals and developing internal and external sources.

Responsibilities

  • Share the value of Chase Private Client with eligible clients
  • Actively manage banking relationships through an advice-based approach, ensuring clients receive the best products and services for their needs
  • Partner with Specialists (Private Client Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and Business Relationship Managers) to connect customers with experts for specialized financial needs
  • Enhance client convenience by setting up self-service options for 24/7 account access
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success using a value-added, relationship-oriented approach to acquire and deepen client relationships
  • 1+ year of Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services, with verifiable success in new client acquisition, relationship cultivation, and revenue generation
  • Beginning October 1, 2018, if not currently registered, the Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (including 63 or 66 if required), and Life licenses are required—or must be successfully completed within 180 days of starting the role
  • Compliance with Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act
  • High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent
  • Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills
  • College degree or military equivalent
  • Experience cultivating relationships with affluent clients
  • Strong team orientation with a commitment to a long-term career with the firm

Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act

This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. Employment is contingent on JPMC’s review of your criminal conviction history, credit report, NMLS information, and other relevant factors to determine financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness. Any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you. Continued employment requires compliance with these requirements, including NMLS registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. Registration must be completed immediately after your start date, with annual renewals and updates required thereafter.
