About the role

The Private Client Advisor role at Nicolet National Bank is dedicated to providing customized financial services to high-net-worth individuals and families. This position requires a deep understanding of banking products and services, as well as the ability to build strong relationships and offer comprehensive solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of the Private Client Team, including coaching, training, and performance reviews.
  • Providing full-service banking to high-net-worth individuals.
  • Meeting with customers or prospects to determine their financial needs and proposing appropriate solutions.
  • Completing annual reviews for Private Banking clients according to policy.
  • Determining appropriate credit solutions and terms.
  • Cross-selling commercial, investment management, and advanced planning solutions.
  • Resolving client issues in a timely manner.
  • Keeping up-to-date the customer relationship management software program with client information.
  • Maintaining strong partnerships with other business lines of Nicolet.
  • Attending various events to represent Nicolet and discuss client needs, problems, and complaints.
  • Upholding Nicolet's policies and ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality and demonstrating solid judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Having an assertive personality, being a team player, and having strong listening skills.
  • Being results-driven and customer service oriented.
  • Being NMLS registered.
  • Having effective verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • MBA, CWS®, and/or CFP® preferred.
  • 5+ years of customer-facing banking experience, preferably in a private banking department including lending experience.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory/management experience.
  • Proficiency with PC, phone system, and general office equipment.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Solid judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Assertive personality, team player, strong listening skills.
  • Results-driven and customer service oriented.
  • NMLS registered.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
