Private Banker
About the role
The Private Banker will play a critical role in growing DLP Bank’s presence in the Lehigh Valley by building and deepening relationships with high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and business owners throughout the market. This individual will provide highly personalized, world-class service while managing clients’ banking and lending needs and identifying opportunities to expand relationships and generate new business.
Responsibilities
- Build and deepen relationships with high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners, and other clients throughout the Lehigh Valley market.
- Develop new business opportunities and generate deposit, lending, and other banking relationships through proactive relationship development, networking, and referrals.
- Serve as a trusted banking partner by understanding clients’ financial needs, identifying opportunities to deepen relationships, and connecting clients with appropriate banking and lending solutions.
- Deliver a highly personalized client experience with exceptional responsiveness, service, professionalism, and follow-through.
- Develop and maintain relationships with centers of influence, referral partners, and community stakeholders to support continued business growth.
- Leverage DLP Bank’s existing relationships and market presence to identify and cultivate prospective clients and new business opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and expertise in DLP Bank’s products and services, as well as relevant banking industry and market trends.
- Meet with clients face-to-face whenever possible, or virtually when in-person meetings are not feasible.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of financial services experience, with demonstrated experience working directly with high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and/or business owners.
- 2+ years of experience in private banking, commercial banking, business banking, or a related relationship management role preferred.
- Demonstrated success building and maintaining strong client relationships and generating new deposit, lending, and/or banking opportunities.
- Strong knowledge of banking products, services, and relationship management practices.
- Established relationships within the Lehigh Valley market and/or with relevant centers of influence preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Pioneered ability to provide highly responsive, personalized service and operate with a strong sense of urgency.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
