As an Investment Manager (IM) for Latin America within the Private Bank, you will collaborate with fellow investment specialists to provide tailored and strategic solutions to the Bank’s UHNW and family office clients and prospects, aligning with their objectives and needs. You will partner with Relationship Managers and work closely with Investment Management Heads to deliver the bank’s investment platform, focusing on the generation, dissemination, and execution of investment transactions. The role is advisory, ensuring all advice is provided in good faith and in the client’s best interest, adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a Brazilian book of business, alongside other submarkets, and prepare strategies to protect, grow, and diversify relationships with a defined group of existing clients.
  • Identify and manage interactions with an assigned group of existing clients from a select submarket.
  • Arrange and lead client calls and meetings to deliver market views and suitable investment solutions.
  • Collaborate on research, due diligence, and preparation of client-ready materials.
  • Own and manage the lifecycle of a client’s investments, including alternative or discretionary solutions and publicly traded market transactions, serving as the point of contact for investment-related escalations.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Middle Office, Supervisory, and Compliance teams to ensure best-in-class services align with internal and industry regulations.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; CFA, MBA, or other advanced degree encouraged.
  • Preferred experience in sales and trading, portfolio construction, and asset allocation, with an understanding of UHNW and family office investor dynamics.
  • Experience managing and/or advising on multi-asset class portfolios for clients across traditional and alternative assets.
  • Ability to deliver a capital market outlook from both an investment strategist’s (top-down) and a manager’s (bottom-up) perspective, articulating why solutions are appropriate for specific investment objectives and market environments.

Pay

The salary range for this position in Miami, FL is $90,000 to $130,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skill set, experience, education, work location, and other qualifications. This range does not include incentive compensation or other remuneration.

Schedule

This role follows the Bank’s hybrid working model, with an expectation that employees will work in the Miami, FL office.
