Private Attorney Outreach Partner
Overview
The Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS), the public defender agency for Massachusetts, seeks candidates for a Private Attorney Outreach Partner. CPCS is a leading public defender agency that provides representation in various legal matters, including criminal, delinquency, and family regulation cases. The agency faces a critical shortage of private attorneys and is looking to expand its network through this position.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or related field and at least four (4) years of recruiting, marketing, or sales experience
- Access to an automobile for travel
- Access to a personal computer with home internet access sufficient to work remotely
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain new and existing pipelines of private attorneys
- Update or develop marketing and recruitment materials for the CPCS website and social media platforms
- Recruit existing private counsel attorneys and CPCS staff to assist in the recruitment of additional private counsel attorneys
- Collaborate with the HR Department, Equity & Inclusion Director, and other stakeholders to coordinate recruiting efforts
- Support the process for private attorneys to become state vendors, including assisting with required vendor documentation
- Represent the agency at job fairs and recruitment events, both locally and nationally
- Other duties as assigned
