Privacy Manager

For a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, we are seeking a Privacy Manager to provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations, strengthening responsible execution, improving decision-making, and supporting sustainable growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Design and scale the company’s data privacy compliance framework
• Collaborate with teams to embed Privacy-by-Design in product development
• Oversee data inventory and manage consumer data access requests
• Conduct privacy risk assessments for third-party vendors
• Partner with Information Security to mitigate data privacy risks

Qualifications

• 4+ years managing data privacy programs in fintech, e-commerce, or SaaS
• Strong knowledge of North American data privacy regulations (CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA)
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills, able to influence diverse stakeholders
• Self-starter capable of managing multiple high-stakes projects under pressure
• Preferred certifications like CIPP/US, CIPP/C, or CIPM

Pay

$125,000 – $190,000 annually
