Responsibilities
- Advising companies on US federal and state privacy laws
- Developing internal data protection programs
- Conducting privacy assessments and building out data maps
- Performing data protection impact assessments
- Drafting privacy policies
- Negotiating data processing agreements
- Advising on cutting-edge or high-risk privacy issues, such as AI, adtech, health data, biometric data, and/or kids and teen data
Requirements
- Preferably 4-8 years of experience in privacy and product counseling
- Strong academic credentials required
- Prior peer law firm experience is a plus
Qualifications
- Experience advising companies on US federal and state privacy laws is required
- Experience with developing internal data protection programs
- Experience with conducting privacy assessments and building out data maps
- Experience with performing data protection impact assessments
- Experience with drafting privacy policies
- Experience with negotiating data processing agreements
- Experience with advising on cutting-edge or high-risk privacy issues, such as AI, adtech, health data, biometric data, and/or kids and teen data
Skills

Pay
The compensation range is $260,000 to $420,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
