Prior Authorization Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Process new authorizations for MRI and CT appointments.
Work primarily with Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance cases.
Review and interpret clinical notes and documentation to support authorization requests.
Manage a daily workload of approximately 30-35 authorizations.
Sure all processed authorizations are accurate and complete.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Epic systems.
• Healthcare industry experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) authorizations is a nice-to-have.
