$20.50–$21.50/hr depending on experience, plus shift differential.

Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with occasional Friday depending on business needs.

About the role

We are looking for a Press Operator (Print Technician) to join our team immediately in Pittsfield, MA. The role focuses on supporting rotogravure printing operations with a goal of continued learning to become a Rotogravure Printer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain rotogravure printing press for production
• Set up and assist the Rotogravure Printer with press operation
• Maintain job materials inventories and provide a clean work area
• Learn and understand color development techniques
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, punctuality, and strong attention to detail
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Work in a fast-paced environment alongside a Rotogravure Printer

Requirements

• Ability to lift 40+ pounds
• Mechanical aptitude to learn rotogravure printing press operation
• Color vision
• Ability to work on two-story-high rotogravure printing presses
• Interest in the printing industry
• Previous work experience in manufacturing or a hands-on trade preferred
• Vocational training in machine shop preferred
• Experience as a Flexo, Flexographic, Prepress, Offset, Rotogravure, Printer, or Pressman is a plus
