Printing - Material Handler (C Shift, 7pm - 7am)

About the role

Reporting to the Printing Shift Supervisor, the Material Handler in the Printing Department ensures molded product is transported from the warehouse staging area to the proper machine on time, removes finished product, and loads it onto the wrapping machine. They also ensure raw product is unloaded from pallets and finished product is neatly stacked back on pallets.

Responsibilities

• Properly maintain Walkie and ensure daily checks are conducted and check sheets appropriately logged.
• Physically move molded product from warehouse staging area to the appropriate printing machine, ensuring accuracy of all scanning transactions in the LX system.
• Unload molded product and load printed product onto skids following the designated route.
• Physically move finished printed product from printing to the warehouse wrapper area and load onto the wrapper, ensuring accuracy of all scanning transactions in the LX system.
• Remove rag barrels from machine area to warehouse staging area for transportation.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and training.
• Perform housekeeping and 5S duties.
• Conduct quality checks on outgoing pallets.
• Respond to Andon Lights and perform line clearance.
• Escalate any maintenance issues regarding equipment.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the printing supervisor/manager or designate.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience handling an electric walkie pallet truck.
• Valid proof of training on electric walkie pallet truck.
• Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements
