About the role
The successful Printed Circuit Board Design Engineer candidate(s) will be responsible for designing PCBs from the beginning stages through the completed output process, perform PCB layout for analog, digital, and RF circuit boards through fabrication and assembly drawings generation, work from preliminary schematics, part lists, basic description of the board function, configuration, arrangement, as well as schematics capture from napkin drawings as defined by engineering.
Responsibilities
- Design PCBs from the beginning stages through the completed output process
- Perform PCB layout for analog, digital, and RF circuit boards through fabrication and assembly drawings generation
- Work from preliminary schematics, part lists, basic description of the board function, configuration, arrangement, as well as schematics capture from napkin drawings as defined by engineering
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PCB design and layout
- Strong understanding of analog, digital, and RF circuitry
- Experience with PCB design software such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or similar
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Proficiency in PCB design and layout
- Knowledge of PCB fabrication processes and assembly techniques
- Experience with schematic capture tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills
