About the Role

The Print Shop Crew Chief oversees daily print-shop operations, ensuring efficient production of district materials.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate print-shop staff and workflow.
• Maintain and operate offset presses, digital printers, bindery equipment, and related machinery.
• Estimate job costs, schedule production, and ensure on-time delivery of printed materials.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Order supplies and manage inventory.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to district branding standards.

Requirements

• Five years of increasingly responsible experience in print-shop operations and equipment.
• Knowledge of offset and digital printing processes, bindery operations, and graphic design software.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Pay

Monthly salary range: $5,665 – $6,900 (Range 36).

Schedule

• 12 months per year, 5 days per week.
• Shift hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• 261 paid work days per year.
