Print Production Specialist

About the role

SpeedPro Imaging of Dallas is a large format digital print studio specializing in custom production of large format, high-resolution graphics. We design, print, and install a wide variety of media to create stunning point of purchase signage, event graphics, trade show displays/exhibits, posters, wall murals, retail window films/graphics, vehicle wraps, outdoor banners and more. We work with clients to elevate their visual communications and provide the highest level of customer service, professionalism, and quality.

Responsibilities

• All aspects day-to-day printing, laminating and finishing processes
• Continually maintain a high level of product quality and craftsmanship
• Clean and maintain printing, plotter and lamination equipment
• Quality control, packing and shipping
• Affiliate maintenance of a clean and organized print and production environment

Requirements

• Mechanically intuitive
• Must have experience working with computers and ability to learn software technologies associated with running production machinery
• Must be coachable
• Must work well in a small team environment
• Must have a “can-do” attitude – "absolutely no place for negative attitude"
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds multiple times daily

Candidate Characteristics

• Must be a fast mover with a sense of urgency
• Must be able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must have an attention to detail and efficiencies preventing waste

Experience Requirements

• Experience with flatbed/roll to roll printers, CNC router, plotter, laminators and ADA signage is a plus
• Strong attention to detail fused with great multi-tasking ability
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Ability and willingness to both learn and follow instructions
