Print Production Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Print Production Associate to join our dynamic Graphics Department. Reporting to the Print Production Lead, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day small-format print production, assisting with large and small format print projects, and cross-training on large-format RIP software.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day small-format print production.
• Assist with finishing large and small format print projects, including laminating, trimming, grommeting, folding, scoring, collating, and preparing completed jobs for shipment.
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Provide support for the Print Production Lead by cross-training on large-format RIP software.
• Able to multi-task and set priorities of project workloads.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Sharp eye to detail and quality.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 lbs. with assistance on an occasional basis.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with large format and digital printing.
• Pre-press software experience, including Onyx Thrive, Fiery, or similar.
• Somewhat college coursework or experience in graphic design, print production, marketing, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a print shop, sign shop, or digital print production environment preferred but not required.
