Responsibilities
- Responsible for project planning with construction and project managers to identify support equipment, printer count and any special project needs.
- Create tracking processes and documentation so that the locations of all ICON equipment is known at all times.
- Continuously improve field processes by working with internal departments to iterate on and implement best practices.
- Ensure seamless coordination between teams, vendors, and internal departments to achieve operational efficiency.
- Participate in and contribute to daily standups for each project, providing required updates when necessary.
- Lead Go / No-Go meetings and provide adequate information for decision making that optimizes overall fleet productivity.
- Manage material logistics and consumable inventory processes to support field operations.
- Ensure accurate capacity planning of all rental equipment, materials, and printer support equipment, and that the plan is executed on time.
- Collaborate with the Construction Manager and Project Manager to ensure seamless execution and project handoffs.
- Serve as the HQ point of contact (POC) for all in-field equipment escalations after supervisors on-site, coordinating repairs, fuel replenishments, and supply of all other project consumables.
- Handle maintenance and calibration for all field instruments, vehicles, heavy equipment, and rigging.
- Oversee Printer Bill of Materials and Jobox inventorying, and work with on-site technicians and supervisors to ensure ICON processes and regular audits are performed.
- Act as the primary owner for all Print Operations logistics processes.
- Review tool audits, identify shortages, and work with the inventory team to add tools or replacements to field supplies.
- Maintain and organize personal tool pouches and ensure all kits are complete before deployment.
- Conduct pre-deployment inspections of tools and equipment.
- Oversee printer organization, site cleanliness, and verify livery completeness prior to deployment.
- Conduct Y-rail maintenance and QC checks to ensure all components meet operational standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all Y-rail materials within the fleet.
- Perform quality control (QC) inspections on cylinders and coordinate courier pickups.
- Complete and maintain Chain of Custody (COC) forms for all cylinder shipments.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with industrial technical products, hardware, or equipment.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Transportation and Logistics Management or a similar field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to travel frequently (80%) to job sites.
- Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours to accommodate schedules.
- Previous experience in logistics, field operations, or construction support preferred.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, across multiple sites in a field environment.
- Familiarity with tool tracking systems, audits, and field equipment maintenance.
- Comfortable using digital tools and documentation platforms.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience as an ICON Print Technician.
- Experience in a logistics role scheduling the shipment of materials, equipment, or consumables necessary for a large industrial operation.
- Technical background in construction, manufacturing, robotics, or industrial automation.
- Experience with robotics, heavy equipment, or other technical hardware/software combinations.
- Experience working in a fast-paced technology or startup environment.
- Hands-on experience operating complex machinery or industrial equipment.
- Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, accountable, and safety-focused.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in fast-paced field conditions.
