Print/Apply (Seasonal)

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Print & Apply units to support production needs.
• Operate multiple pieces of equipment.
• Set up equipment, load labels and ink ribbons.
• Recognize and correct inaccuracies.
• Maintain quality of the finished product to meet customer standards.

Requirements

• Follow standard work procedures.
• Load labels and ribbons on multiple Print & Apply units.
• Enter product code into Print & Apply unit.
• Run multiple Print & Apply units.
• Clean and maintain the Print & Apply unit.
• Work with Quality assurance, Production and Team Leaders.
• Work safely and with accuracy.
• Ensure machines and surrounding areas are kept neat and sanitary.
• Adapt to changing situations.
• Train employees.
• Complete documentation to comply with Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Observe plant clean-up procedures and remain consistent with plant safety goals and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with similar equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Attention to detail.
• Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job.

Skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
