Principles and Practices of Optometry-1 Lab Instructor (Part Time Position)

About the role

The New England College of Optometry invites applications for a limited part-time faculty position in the Principles and Practices of Optometry course.

Responsibilities

• Precepting laboratories
• Grading clinical skill examinations
• Guiding students during instructed clinical practice at the Clinical Training Center at 424 Beacon Street, Boston, MA

Schedule

• Hours: 8–10am on Thursdays: September 10, 17, 24; October 8, 15, 29; November 8, 12, 19; and December 3, 10

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry degree (O.D.) at the time of appointment
• Have or be eligible to obtain a Massachusetts Optometry License with TPA certification
• Preference given to candidates with related experience, who have completed an accredited optometric residency, or have equivalent patient care and/or teaching experience

Pay

• $55/hour
