About the Role

The Platform Operations Principal is the highest-level technical expert within Platform Operations, providing deep specialty expertise across CPaaS Registrations, Connectivity, and Routing (including traffic integrity and anti-abuse operations). This role combines hands-on technical mastery with cross-functional influence, driving operational excellence, platform reliability, service integrity, and customer experience at scale. Principals act as the final technical authority, shape the long-term operational and technical direction, and translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Expertise: Serve as the highest-level technical expert, act as the final escalation point for complex issues, mentor senior engineers, and represent operational concerns in strategic discussions.
• Platform & Operational Strategy: Define long-term technical roadmaps, evaluate emerging technologies, forecast capacity and costs, and translate business/regulatory requirements into operational plans.
• Monitoring, Detection & Continuous Improvement: Monitor customer usage, identify trends, design mitigation strategies, and improve operational tooling and workflows.
• Operational Execution & Reliability: Ensure operational readiness of new features, optimize workflows, develop automation, and standardize best practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Advocacy: Collaborate with internal teams, advocate for customer experience, partner with external stakeholders, and serve as a subject matter authority.

Pay

Salary Range: $150,000-$200,000 USD annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
