What You Will Do
Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment.
Collaborate in a fast-paced environment, using troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues, including hardware and OS integration, while adapting to evolving challenges as part of a team.
Working with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.
Be the lead for all storage appliances in all classified networks.
Troubleshoot complex IT issues and develop solutions and documentation about a variety of technical problems.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or a master’s degree and minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience.
- Must have an active a transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience with administering, maintaining and troubleshooting storage appliances specifically NetApp and experience with iscsi, NAS and SAN solutions.
- Experience with administering backups (with Veritas Netbackup, BackupExec, Veeam or closely related software).
- Experience with VmWare Virtualization such as VDS, and various cyber hardening.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows administration.
We Prefer
- Experience with integration and supporting an email platform such as Exchange or SmarterMail.
- Configuration and support of Fabric Cisco or Brocade Switches.
- Linux expertise desired.
- Familiarity with Splunk, Nessus, Symantec, SCCM highly desired.
- Experienced mentoring individuals and teams.
- Create Visio Diagrams to reflect system and network overview/topology.
- Self-starter, take on various projects at once, and be comfortable with a fast-paced environment.
- Direct working experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF.
