About the role

The Principal Vulnerability Researcher is responsible for conducting advanced research on vulnerabilities in cryptographic systems and developing countermeasures to mitigate these threats.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting cutting-edge research on cryptographic vulnerabilities
  • Developing and evaluating new security protocols and algorithms
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into product development
  • Writing technical papers and presenting research findings at industry conferences

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or cryptography
  • Experience with cryptographic analysis and reverse engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

  • PhD in Computer Science or a related field preferred
  • Experience with hardware security and embedded systems
  • Knowledge of blockchain technology and its security implications

Skills

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and assembly
  • Experience with fuzz testing and automated vulnerability discovery tools
  • Understanding of cryptographic standards and protocols (e.g., TLS, SSH)
  • Experience with threat modeling and risk assessment

Pay

$120,000 - $150,000 annually
