About the role
The Principal Vulnerability Researcher is responsible for conducting advanced research on vulnerabilities in cryptographic systems and developing countermeasures to mitigate these threats.
Responsibilities
- Conducting cutting-edge research on cryptographic vulnerabilities
- Developing and evaluating new security protocols and algorithms
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into product development
- Writing technical papers and presenting research findings at industry conferences
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or cryptography
- Experience with cryptographic analysis and reverse engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science or a related field preferred
- Experience with hardware security and embedded systems
- Knowledge of blockchain technology and its security implications
Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and assembly
- Experience with fuzz testing and automated vulnerability discovery tools
- Understanding of cryptographic standards and protocols (e.g., TLS, SSH)
- Experience with threat modeling and risk assessment

Pay
$120,000 - $150,000 annually
