About the role
The Principal UX Designer for Shopping Design will significantly impact the Amazon Shopping experience, driving strategies, frameworks, and patterns used by various Amazon teams.
Responsibilities
- Define how to adapt Shopping CX to meet unique customer needs across different devices, resolutions, and locales.
- Influence across organizational lines and locales to drive consistent CX standards among business groups and design teams.
- Earn trust with senior leaders to ensure CX frameworks scale to the broad needs and interests of our customers.
- Partner closely with product and engineering teams to invent, evolve, and simplify Shopping product design and architecture.
- Develop feedback loops from partner teams and stay informed about industry innovation to identify and experiment with new opportunities, then integrate learnings back into page frameworks.
- Prioritize inclusive and accessible designs for all customers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of design experience.
- Experience with UI/IA/Interaction Design best practices.
- Experience in lifecycle design projects from strategy through execution.
- Preferred: Experience providing strategic and tactical recommendations based on data, experience with rapid prototyping with AI tools.
