Principal UiPath Solutions Architect

About the role

Shape the automation and Agentic AI strategy for strategic enterprise accounts, setting the technical direction that elevates an entire practice. As a Principal UiPath Solution Architect, you will operate as both a hands-on technical authority and a strategic advisor, setting the architectural vision for how UiPath's RPA platform converges with emerging Agentic AI technologies across Naviant's portfolio of strategic accounts. You will translate enterprise-level ambiguity into repeatable, scalable frameworks, serve as the escalation point for complex architecture challenges, mentor other architects and senior developers, and act as a trusted voice with customer executives and Naviant leadership.

Responsibilities

First 30 Days: Getting Grounded

• Serve in a senior-level capacity across one or more strategic automation engagements, leveraging UiPath Studio and Orchestrator, with substantial experience across enterprise capabilities such as Maestro, Agent Builder, IXP (including Document Understanding), AI Center, and other agentic features.
• Assess and validate enterprise architecture decisions across infrastructure, network, and security for UiPath environments, flagging risk and scalability gaps early.
• Define enterprise-grade solution architecture spanning UiPath products, APIs, and integrations with ERPs, CRMs, and EHRs, ensuring alignment with both customer and Naviant technical standards.
• Evaluate architecture diagrams, solution design documents, and data flow standards across multiple engagements, and develop a plan to address methodology gaps.
• Engage directly in the most technically demanding areas of solution design, using UiPath Studio, AI Center, and Agentic AI tooling.
• Provide architectural oversight and resolve technical roadblocks for development teams across concurrent, large-scale solutions.

At 90 Days and Beyond: Driving Impact

• Serve as the principal driver of continuous improvement and technical maturity across the Intelligent Automation practice.
• Mentor and develop architects and senior developers, elevating the technical capability of the broader team.
• Lead the most strategic customer engagements end-to-end, serving as the senior technical voice in pre-sales, executive briefings, and renewals.
• Represent Naviant's point of view externally through thought leadership, industry events, and engagement with the broader UiPath ecosystem.

Requirements

Enterprise Automation Architecture & Agentic AI

• Sets the architectural vision for scalable, enterprise-grade automation solutions across UiPath and the broader AI ecosystem.
• Establishes standards for determining when to use AI agents, deterministic automation, APIs, business rules, or human decision-making, and for designing governed agentic workflows that integrate agents, robots, systems, and people.

Technical Depth & Infrastructure Authority

• Brings deep, hands-on expertise in VB.NET, C#, and Python, paired with the judgment to evaluate infrastructure, network, and security decisions at an enterprise scale.
• Serves as the escalation point for the most complex technical and architectural challenges.

Practice Leadership & Mentorship

• Elevates the capability of the broader team by mentoring architects and senior developers, setting technical standards, and modeling accountability and excellence.
• Drives cross-functional alignment on the most strategic, highest-stakes engagements.

Executive Communication & Trusted Advisory

• Translates complex technical strategy into actionable terms for executives and stakeholders.
• Builds durable trust with customer leadership and functions as a senior, credible voice in pre-sales, renewals, and strategic planning.
