Job Description
Johnson & Johnson is seeking an experienced Principal Technology Product Management professional to join the Therapeutics Discovery Information Technology organization in Spring House, PA. This role will support a broad portfolio of scientific, digital, data, automation, and technology initiatives across Therapeutics Discovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex business analysis efforts supporting Therapeutics Discovery initiatives.
- Conduct discovery and assessment activities to evaluate opportunities, challenges, business needs, and technology investments.
- Translate scientific, operational, and technical needs into actionable recommendations and delivery plans.
- Identify risks, dependencies, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support leadership decision-making through structured analysis and clear communication.
- Partner with scientists, product teams, software development teams, data organizations, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Lead requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution definition activities.
- Design and facilitate workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder discussions that drive alignment and decision-making.
- Build effective partnerships between scientific and technology organizations.
- Develop clear and concise requirements, process models, recommendations, and supporting project artifacts.
- Document and analyze current-state business processes, workflows, and decision points.
- Define future-state processes and operating models that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and user experience.
- Identify opportunities for standardization, simplification, automation, and improved collaboration.
- Support organizational change and adoption activities associated with new processes and technologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis methods, templates, standards, and reusable assets.
- Mentor and support less-experienced Business Analysts.
- Share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned across projects and initiatives.
- Support the growth of the broader Business Analysis community within Therapeutics Discovery Information Technology.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Management, Management Consulting, Business Process Analysis, or related disciplines.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving business and technology stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience gathering requirements, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and designing business processes.
- Strong communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes in complex environments.
- Experience using AI tools and digital assistants to accelerate analysis, synthesize information, develop content, and support decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, research, or scientific organizations.
- Experience working with laboratory, scientific, automation, data, artificial intelligence, or digital technology environments.
- Experience developing process models, business cases, requirements documentation, and future-state operating models.
- Experience working within Agile, product-oriented, or hybrid delivery environments.
- Participation in relevant Business Analysis professional organizations, certifications, or industry communities.
