About The Team

The Software organization builds the B2B SaaS platforms and products that power Zillow’s software and services for real estate professionals. We partner across Zillow to deliver scalable, revenue-critical solutions spanning shopper and listing workflows, identity and access management, and monetization systems that support purchasing, billing, entitlements, and internal operations.

About The Role

As Principal Technical Program Manager, Industry Software, you will lead some of Zillow’s most complex and strategic cross-organizational initiatives. You will partner with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, and Design to turn strategy into execution, drive alignment across multiple teams, and deliver measurable outcomes across critical B2B platforms.

  • Lead large, cross-functional programs from strategy and planning through launch and post-launch learning.
  • Translate business and product priorities into clear program plans, milestones, success metrics, and execution rhythms.
  • Align Product, Engineering, and Design teams on scope, sequencing, risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
  • Drive program execution across complex platform areas, including identity, access, monetization, and internal tooling.
  • Communicate progress, decisions, and risks clearly to senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Partner with engineering and architecture leaders to ensure technical plans are scalable, realistic, and maintainable.
  • Improve how teams plan and deliver by strengthening governance, reporting, and program management practices.
  • Mentor partners and model operational excellence that increases clarity, quality, and delivery velocity.

Who you are

  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management or a similar role leading large, cross-team programs in complex organizations.
  • Strong experience with B2B SaaS products or platforms, ideally in areas such as identity, access, monetization, billing, or other complex business systems.
  • A track record of owning end-to-end delivery for complex technical initiatives, from definition through launch and iteration.
  • Tech fluency in modern software architectures and ability to work effectively with engineering teams on systems, dependencies, and delivery tradeoffs.
  • Highly effective at creating structure in ambiguous environments and influencing across functions and levels without direct authority.
  • Clear communication with both technical and executive audiences and ability to turn complexity into actionable decisions.
  • Experience mentoring TPMs, improving planning frameworks, or leading cross-organizational operating models is a plus.
