Principal Technical Program Manager - Data & Specialty Services

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic technical program plans, aligning with organizational goals and cross-functional collaboration, and oversee complex program execution by managing resources, budgets, and timelines while mitigating risks and addressing roadblocks
- Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate program planning, dependency/risk synthesis, and executive-ready reporting, validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity requirements
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams, providing direction and defining decision-making procedures for beneficial outcomes
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities, incorporating best practices, and staying abreast of emerging technologies
- Promote reuse-first, AI-assisted practices for program governance and continuous improvement routines, ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standards
- Assume traditional PM duties such as scheduling, status meetings, reporting, and presentations/briefings
- Comply with service-level reporting and tracking duties across platforms such as JIRA, MS Project, Excel, Clarity, etc.
- Specialize in either design, implementation, and/or support of technology infrastructure (compute, facilities, and/or networking)
- Responsible for fiscal accountability for projects including forecasting, approvals, and managing delivery within budget
- Interface with vendors and service providers involved in the delivery of infrastructure (hardware, managed service, and SmartHands)
- Demonstrate knowledge in electronic trading including knowledge of liquidity centers, colocation facilities, proximity infrastructure builds, and equities & fixed income trading
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in large organizations
- Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support technical program management workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity
- Ability to review and validate AI-assisted plans, risks, and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations
- Advanced analytical reasoning skills, applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, and operational objectives
- Proven ability in leading through change, managing dependencies, and controlling change in high-pressure, shifting environments
- Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships, and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectives
Qualifications
