Principal Technical Architect

For our client, a leader in the Business Services space, we are seeking a Principal Technical Architect to join their team. This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities.

Location: New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of innovative technical solutions
• Define and uphold technical architecture standards and best practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze technical requirements
• Provide expert technical guidance to project teams
• Evaluate and recommend adoption of new technologies
• Ensure that technical solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals
• Mentor and train team members on architectural principles and practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology; or Master's in Information Systems or Software Engineering
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification
• TOGAF 9 Certification from The Open Group
• Proficient in Agile Methodology and Change Management
• Skilled in design thinking, client relations, and commercial modeling

Pay

$210,000 – $300,000 annually
