Principal Systems Test Engineer

About the role

The Principal Systems Test Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of software systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test cases and scripts for various software components.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and bugs in software systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand system requirements and design test strategies accordingly.
• Document test results and provide feedback to developers to improve product quality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, preferably in a technical role.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, etc.
• Experience with database management systems like SQL.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Good understanding of software architecture principles.

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
