Principal Systems Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide security strategy.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of security architecture and design.
• Lead high-stakes incident response and digital forensics.
• Conduct and oversee comprehensive risk and vulnerability assessments.
• Develop and enforce advanced security controls and protocols.
• Research and integrate cutting-edge security tools and technologies.
• Provide expert consultation and guidance on security matters.
• Mentor and develop junior security engineers and teams.

Qualifications

• You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related Engineering discipline.
  • 12+ years of experience in IT security or a related field.
  • Current/Active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance with SCI is required.
• We Prefer:
  • Information Systems Security Manager Certified Information Systems Security Professional (ISSM CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Certification.
  • ISSE Certified Information Systems Security Professional-Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (CISSP-ISSEP) Certification.
  • Information System Security Officer (ISSO) Security+, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) Certification.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), Linux, and/or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security Certification.
  • Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
  • Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
