About the Role
Altamira Technologies provides innovative solutions to the U.S. National Security community, serving defense, intelligence, and homeland security sectors worldwide. This role leads Altamira’s team supporting the Highly Integrated Versatile Enterprise (HIVE) Ground Integration contract for NRO/GED/SGSPO, focusing on SIGINT mission integration and systems engineering.
Responsibilities
- Lead CONOPS development, mission thread development, systems engineering, and integration analysis for the HIVE Ground Integration effort.
- Oversee end-to-end integration and testing execution of mission threads, including software development and test harness creation.
- Ensure successful mission integration testing across multiple HIVE developers and assess mission thread progress as the HIVE architecture evolves toward Full Operational Capability (FOC).
- Support government meetings (NRO/GED/MOD/SED, NSA, operators/users) to align mission integration strategy with technical and programmatic execution.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Altamira’s technical team, fostering both professional growth and technological advancement.
- Communicate the technical vision to organizational leadership and employees.
Requirements
- United States citizenship.
- Active TS/SCI clearance (CI Poly preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in National Technical Means (NTM) missions, overhead SIGINT mission integration, and end-to-end acquisition, technical integration, operations, and mission tasking (e.g., TCPED chain).
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration, testing, and software development (sprint planning, requirements, backlog management).
- 5+ years of experience leading and managing teams while collaborating closely with government stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of SIGINT mission execution, products, and operations.
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging NRO government leads, NSA/DoW stakeholders, and industry partners (e.g., SVPs, Chief SE&I leads, software leads).
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Experience as a System Architect, Digital Transformation Lead, Lead Architect, or similar senior leadership role.
- Management of large, complex software and mission integration projects.
- Expertise in SIGINT CONOPS development, HIVE/legacy NTM systems, Commercial Cloud Enterprise (C2E)/SIGINT Mission Framework (SMF), SIGINT Production Chain (SPC), and mission automation.
- Experience collaborating with business leaders, IT professionals, and customers.
Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position is $180,000 to $225,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, certifications, internal equity, customer contractual requirements, security clearance, and other business considerations.
