Principal Systems Engineer (Hybrid)

In the C4ISR Systems business area, you will help develop systems that sense, control, exploit, and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions.

Responsibilities

• Provide system engineering inputs for work products, including tasking in the development of requirements, design, integration and fielding of this capability.
• Utilize digital engineering and model‑based systems engineering.
• Support the preparation and delivery of technical presentations internally and for customer meetings.
• Perform system integration and test per procedures.
• Perform data analysis and scripting.
• Mainly on‑site tasking for lab testing.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance with eligibility to obtain TS/SCI clearance in the future.
• BS in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Software or equivalent plus 4–6+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Ability to integrate software and troubleshoot issues for characterization.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in a laboratory environment.
• Experience with C++, MATLAB, or Python scripting.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
• Experience performing engineering activities across the development cycle (requirements, design & development, system integration and test).
• Experience in software and systems integration and testing.
• Experience in digital engineering and model‑based systems engineering.
• Ability to integrate software and knowledge of Linux containers.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
• Familiarity with RF/SIGINT applications.
• Team player with proactive attitude, able to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment.
• Experience with Agile development.
