Principal System Analyst
Job Description
Perform integrated analysis and evaluation of GDA test events including Flight Tests, Ground Tests, and Cyber Tests activities
Participate in and support engineering milestones across multiple systems
Collaborate with stakeholders across MDA and outside MDA to coordinate schedules, resolve issues, and ensure technical accuracy
Lead or support technical interchange meetings (TIMs), action tracking, and meeting coordination
Develop executive-level briefings, technical papers, and correspondence for senior leaders, including Flag Officers and SES personnel
Coordinate meetings and VTCs as needed
Represent the Government customer in IPTs, working groups, and forums
Support efforts related to system security, including compliance tracking or integration of cybersecurity inputs into engineering processes
Required Skills
- Masters degree with 12+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program OR Bachelor's degree with 20+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program
- Active Secret clearance
- Strong understanding of MDA systems engineering processes and procedures
- Demonstrate understanding of system architecture and system
- Experience with MDA and GDA system elements
- Familiarity with the Missile Defense System at large and how each system element coordinates across the system of systems
- Knowledge of the ETM-2 system and experience managing Congressional or routine taskers
- Ability to operate independently and communicate effectively across diverse technical teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
- Skilled in developing and delivering technical briefings to senior decision-makers
Desired Skills
- Strong understanding of the Command & Control framework for missile defense systems
- Experience in Model-Based System Engineering
- Strong understanding of the test process for all test types and their walkup activities, execution, as well as post test analysis and activities
- Bachelor's degree in STEM in addition to Master's degree in STEM
Security Clearance Requirement
An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.
Pay
Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $196,400.00
