Principal Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist

Responsibilities

• Preparing and executing a mixed portfolio of subcontracts and procurements
• Managing performance of subcontracts, ensuring compliance with all public law requirements as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations
• Identifying strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and manage risk through strategic and targeted negotiations
• Understanding the buyer and seller’s roles to establish mutually successful business arrangements
• Specifying solicitations and bid packages
• Evaluating proposals and negotiating prices/terms
• Developing and administering contractual documentation and post awards
• Leveraging your skill and talents throughout this role

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following: Subcontracts, Contracts, Proposal Price/Cost analysis, Procurement, Program Management, Supply Chain, Project Management, and/or Strategic Sourcing
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
• US Citizenship Preferred

Qualifications

• Experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and DFARS
• Supplier selection/management experience on US Government contract(s)
• Experience working within a government approved purchasing system
• Experience with management of complex subcontracts

Pay

Primary Level Salary Range: $85,600.00 - $128,400.00
