About the role

The Advanced Effector Guidance Systems Department at Raytheon is seeking a Principal Subsystems Integration Engineer to lead a technical team in solving complex and multi-disciplined problems through product development and integration for both subsystems and overall system level. This role involves providing technical guidance and supervision, managing suppliers, and leading proposal development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Leading a technical team to solve complex and multi-disciplined problems through product development and integration for both subsystems and overall system level.
  • Providing technical guidance and supervision in meeting project commitments.
  • Managing suppliers and leading proposal development efforts.
  • Resolving technical issues efficiently.
  • Leading failure investigation teams and presenting failure investigation results to customers and higher-level management.
  • Leading circuit card re-design or new design efforts.
  • Collaborating with both Functional and Program higher level management.
  • Collaborating with Customer and Suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience with electrical hardware development, sub-systems, systems engineering, requirement development and/or requirement validation.
  • An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for additional years of experience as follows: Master’s is equal to 2 years of experience, or a Ph.D. is equal to 4 years of experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

This position is classified as: Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader. Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
