This role offers the opportunity to shape the operating foundation of a fast-growing organization by improving how teams plan, prioritize, and execute. You will partner closely with executive leadership to build scalable systems that translate strategy into measurable outcomes. The position combines strategic thinking, operational excellence, and hands-on execution across critical company initiatives in a remote-first environment.
About the role
You will design planning frameworks, improve decision-making processes, and remove organizational friction. Working with cross-functional teams, you will create clarity and alignment, helping establish mechanisms that enable teams to move faster while maintaining focus and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Design and continuously improve leadership operating systems, including planning cadences, decision-making frameworks, and execution rhythms.
- Own quarterly and annual planning processes by ensuring priorities, dependencies, and resources remain aligned across teams.
- Drive execution of high-priority cross-functional initiatives by improving accountability, coordination, and follow-through.
- Build scalable documentation, operating mechanisms, and planning tools that help teams execute efficiently.
- Partner with executive stakeholders to identify organizational challenges and implement solutions that improve decision quality and operational effectiveness.
- Translate complex business challenges into clear frameworks, actionable recommendations, and measurable outcomes.
- Leverage AI tools as part of daily operations to improve judgment, efficiency, and decision-making processes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Business Operations, Strategic Operations, Chief of Staff roles, Management Consulting, or comparable operational leadership positions.
- Proven experience designing and scaling operating systems, planning processes, or execution frameworks within growing organizations.
- Experience partnering directly with founders, executives, and senior leadership teams on company-wide initiatives.
- Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information into clear decisions and frameworks.
- Strong systems thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying root causes and creating scalable solutions.
- Excellent judgment, executive presence, and the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Ability to operate independently in fast-moving, ambiguous environments while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Demonstrated AI fluency, including regular use of AI tools, understanding their strengths and limitations, and continuously improving how they are applied.
- Experience with company planning processes such as OKRs, annual planning, or quarterly business reviews is a plus.
- Familiarity with modern collaboration and productivity tools such as Notion, Linear, Slack, analytics platforms, and AI assistants is preferred.
