About the role
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal / Sr Principal Configuration Data Management analyst to join our team in Palmdale, CA. This position requires a self-starter with experience in Integrated Product Teams and Configuration/Data Management.
Responsibilities
- Technical authority for CDM, ensuring consistency, integrity, and traceability of configuration items and associated data across the program lifecycle.
- Define, own, and enforce enterprise CDM strategy, policies, processes, and standards that meet contract, regulatory, and security requirements.
- Establish and enforce configuration identification, versioning, baselining, throughout the program lifecycle to preserve baseline integrity.
- Implement automated data collection and verification processes to ensure configuration data accuracy and synchronization across tools.
- Lead configuration audits and compliance assessments, prepare evidence for customer/regulatory reviews, and adjudicate findings.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring for CM/CDM teams, training, and drive continuous improvement and data remediation efforts.
Requirements
- Current applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
- Active DoD Top Secret SCI clearance (with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
- Experience in Configuration/Data Management and systems engineering, including configuration identification, baselining, change control, audits, and CM governance across complex programs.
Qualifications
- Principal Configuration Analyst: Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience, a Master’s degree with 3 years of related experience, a PhD with 1 year of related experience, an Associate's degree with 7 years of related work experience, OR 9 years of professional related work experience.
- Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst: Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related experience, a Master’s degree with 6 years of related experience, a PhD with 4 year of related experience, an Associate's degree with 10 years of related work experience, OR 12 years of professional related work experience.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Experience in Configuration/Data Management and systems engineering, including configuration identification, baselining, change control, audits, and CM governance across complex programs.
- Agile project management (manage & prioritize workflow).
- Familiarity with AGILE/SCRUM Master.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment software development.
Pay
Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00
