About the role

The Principal Solutions Engineer will serve as a technical delivery leader within an innovative Agentic AI environment, designing intelligent solutions that connect AI agents with enterprise workflows, services, and productivity tools. The role combines hands-on engineering with solution architecture, enabling seamless employee experiences across multiple platforms and systems. You will architect production-grade agentic solutions using LLMs, RAG, orchestration, and autonomous agent capabilities. Working across Integration, Service Management, Productivity, and engineering teams, you will shape complex cross-platform solutions from concept through deployment and optimization. The position also provides an opportunity to establish reusable engineering patterns, responsible AI practices, and technical standards. As a senior technical contributor, you will mentor engineers, influence architecture decisions, and help advance enterprise AI capabilities. This is a fully remote U.S. position with working hours aligned to the Pacific Time Zone.

Accountabilities

  • Design and deliver end-to-end agentic AI solutions that connect enterprise workflows, productivity platforms, services, and data sources.
  • Architect complete agent workflows covering intent recognition, reasoning, orchestration, action execution, and response generation.
  • Build autonomous AI agents using LLMs, RAG, NLU/NLP, tool-use patterns, and multi-step reasoning.
  • Configure and extend agentic AI platforms, developing AI actions, intents, integrations, and knowledge pipelines.
  • Lead hands-on implementation from solution design through deployment, optimization, and ongoing operational improvement.
  • Ensure solutions are reliable, scalable, observable, secure, and ready for enterprise production environments.
  • Implement responsible AI safeguards, including testing, guardrails, PII protection, compliance controls, and governance practices.
  • Partner with integration, service management, productivity, and platform engineering teams to develop solutions spanning multiple systems.
  • Design reusable API connectors, integration patterns, event-driven architectures, and workflow orchestration capabilities.
  • Facilitate architecture reviews, joint planning sessions, design reviews, and cross-functional technical alignment.
  • Establish engineering standards and best practices for agentic AI development, testing, deployment, and operations.
  • Mentor engineers, conduct technical design reviews, and support automation initiatives that improve team productivity and delivery quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or a closely related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience delivering integrated enterprise solutions across multiple platforms and systems.
  • Hands-on experience building agentic AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, NLU/NLP, orchestration frameworks, and related technologies.
  • Experience with agentic AI platforms such as Moveworks, ServiceNow AI Agents, Copilot Studio, or comparable solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in JavaScript or TypeScript also valuable.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience designing APIs, event-driven architectures, integrations, and enterprise workflow orchestration.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, observability, and production engineering practices.
  • Ability to work effectively across cross-functional and matrixed organizations while influencing technical decisions without direct authority.
  • Strong solution architecture, analytical, communication, and technical leadership skills.
  • Experience with enterprise service management, integration platforms, Microsoft 365, or Power Platform is preferred.
  • Knowledge of responsible AI, governance, testing frameworks, knowledge graphs, enterprise search, or content management is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish engineering standards, mentor technical teams, and influence architecture and technology direction.

Benefits

  • Expected base salary of $118,500–$165,000 annually, depending on geographic market, skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options.
