Principal Solutions Architect, GenAI

About the role

Be part of something groundbreaking at AIG, a leading global insurance organization. We are investing in a new, innovative Generative AI team to explore how artificial intelligence can transform how we manage risk and serve our customers.

Responsibilities

• Shape the strategy and development of AIG’s next-generation AI-driven solutions
• Design end-to-end architectures spanning multiple lines of business
• Drive the integration of cloud, AI, and cutting-edge technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and principles supporting AI/ML integration and business transformation
• Guide the creation, adoption, and dissemination of architecture standards across the organization
• Oversee the end-to-end execution of architecture initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and maximizing business value

Requirements

• Extensive experience leading the architecture, design, and roadmap of large-scale business applications or functional technology solutions
• Proficient in managing end-to-end architecture (functional, logical, and physical)
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to drive the adoption of AI/ML and cloud-native technologies
• Advanced knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, APIs, Microservices, Open Data, and DevSecOps
• Strategic direction and mentoring experience

Qualifications

• Experience working with highly regulated industries
• Familiarity with ethical standards and controls for Generative AI
• Knowledge of business and Insurance functions such as channel and distribution, submission and file management, price and quote, policy and service, forms ecosystems, claims, money movement, billing and collections, finance ledgers and reporting, reinsurance, data modeling and usage, actuarial, shared business platforms, corporate systems

Skills

• Leverage and develop skills in AI/ML integration with Agile and lean methodologies
• Manage technical solution architecture in hybrid environments
• Integrate on-prem and cloud-based (AWS) infrastructure to create secure and scalable solutions
• Foster a culture of experimentation and passion for emerging technologies
