What You Will Do

Lead and participate with a Software Test team with these responsibilities:

  • Derive testing requirements from System and Software development specifications.
  • Design and implement test configurations for various stages of hardware and software development.
  • Do physical installations and connections of equipment and software to establish and maintain test environment, and update as needed.
  • Create test plans to demonstrate compliance with software specifications.
  • Execute test plans and document results.
  • Prepare and submit documentation in accordance with Contractor Data Requirements List (CDRL).
  • Produce planning and technical work products for internal customers to form original solutions to complex problems.
  • As the Test Team Leader, you will also be responsible for managing budget and schedule for testing.
  • You will be responsible for interacting with other disciplines, such as Hardware, Electrical and Systems, and other team leaders and senior technical staff to insure the completeness and success of software testing.
  • Engage with fast pace and dynamic product development environment.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience setting up, configuring, and connecting test scenarios using target hardware, input and driver devices, and data collection systems.
  • Team leadership experience including managing people, budget and schedules.
  • Lab experience in product testing using logic analyzers, high-speed oscilloscopes, signal generators, and system on chip debugging tools, or similar.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Ability to drive results and coordinate with Software, Hardware, and Systems teams, and agile processes.
  • Experience developing technical documents for internal and customer distribution.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages, software design, integration and test.
  • Familiarity with embedded microprocessor design, system on a chip software design, FPGAs, high-speed transceivers, DDR, flash memories, block diagrams, signal analyses or signal generation, and real-time operating systems.
  • Good written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Existing Secret security clearance.
  • Electronic Warfare Electronic Attack/Electronic Support (EA/ES), Radar, or Secure Communications technology knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Software Tools like Jenkins/Jira, DevSecOps, Interfaces and bus standards.
  • Experience with scripting and test automation.
