About the role
As a Principal Software Integration and Test Engineer, you will support the integration and testing of the Patriot program for the Tactical Command System (TCS) and Battery Command Post (BCP). This is an onsite role based in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities
- Perform Integration and Test engineering activities in support of the Patriot program for the Tactical Command System (TCS) and Battery Command Post (BCP).
- Participate in peer reviews, interfacing with, and providing support to the customer and other team members.
- Support SIR and STR documentation and identify changes and deletions for impacts.
- Travel to and from Patriot Sites in support of testing (two or three times a year).
Requirements
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
- Experience with Integration and Test or Verification and Validation.
- Experience with Patriot or similar product line (e.g., Communication Link Architecture, Major End Items for Patriot such as Tactical Command System (TCS) or Battery Command Post (BCP)).
- Experience with the following tools: Wireshark and File Transfer Protocol (FTP).
- Experience with Linux/Unix operating system.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance (required prior to start).
Qualifications We Prefer
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Experience with reviewing and understanding Technical Data Packages.
- Excellent communication, organization, and investigative skills.
- Experience with Interoperability Engineering System (IES) or Defense Planner knowledge.
- Understanding of Battle Space Design.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $107,500 – $204,500 USD.
